SUNDRIVE Park hosted an eight goal DDSL Under 14 thriller on Sunday with the points being shared with feat of the day coming from Dalkey's Finn Fitzgerald who scored all his side's goal.

Lourdes actually went into the break 2-1 up and on the turn-around Dane Hamilton added a third lobbing the keeper for an excellent finish.

Fitzgerald netted his second pouncing on a short back pass but Kaiden Kennedy made it 4-2 to the home side.

Still Dalkey refused to lie down and Fitzgerald claimed his hat-trick with five minutes to go and then capped a brilliant individual performance with a fourth goal just before the finish to tie the game up.

THE match had been delayed for an hour as Lourdes' 17 Premiers came from 3-1 down to net twice late on against Cabinteely FC to force their cup tie into extra time and then held their nerve in the ensuing penalty shootout to claim the spoils.
